Be it video games, board games, or table top roleplaying I love immersing myself in different worlds and engaging in different genres, themes and systems. Hopping from game to game, I love discovering new games and stories regularly.

I draw inspiration from my other interests. Film, cooking, or mythology, everything can give me that spark that makes me want to create.

I love expressing my passion for something by challenging myself in small or big ways. For example, after over a year of taking cooking a bit more seriously by trying new recipes regularly, I worked at a family member's restaurant for a couple of weeks. After which I organised a three course meal for friends as a 'test' of what I've learned.

I have also been on a now nearly three year long quest to watch as many Sci-Fi classics as I can think of. It has motivated me to rediscover old favourites such as the Alien series and give movies a chance I wouldn't have normally tried, such as Starship Troopers or Robocop.

For my Dungeons and Dragons games, I often look towards real-world mythology for inspiration. The more obscure, the better. For example, the Fawdaa, which you can find in the D&D section of this site, came about when I randomly learnt about the Seropard, a mythological creature found in ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian art. With that as a starting point I created a creature to implement it into the campaign I was running at the time, which was happening in the Feywild at that moment.​
